All getaways must come to an end...but we managed to make the best of the trip home by stopping at the Evergreen Air Museum near McMinnville. Home of Howard Hughes' "The Spruce Goose." I think it was the first time for the Webberley clan so they took in both Museums...The Air Museum (with the Spruce Goose) and the Space & Rocket Museum across the parking lot. I've been there several times...so I did the first museum with them but then I took in an Imax film at the theater they have there. The boys really liked it. The "Pilots In Training" area was right up their alley. "Roger Base...Jet One & The Red Baron ready for take-off!"

Great pics, it was a lot of fun, even with the Newport closures...just means we'll have to go back!
