Of course we had to make the obligatory side trip to Newport. It wasn't until we got down there that we found out the attractions were on winter schedule. That means they were closed. No Undersea Gardens...no Ripley's Believe It Or Not!...no Wax Museum. Even the gift shop was closed. So we did the next best thing. Ate lunch at Mo's..."Cheesy Bread" all around please! "Shrimp salads" & "Sourdough
Cannon-bowls filled with Clam Chowder!" A Yummy time was had by all. Outside the restaurant we took a couple pictures of the boys standing atop some decorative pilings. One of the few times we actually saw our shadows...LOL
