I went to a wedding in Los Angeles in April. The theme of the affair was "Pop Stars of the 70's"...so I donned my best straw hat, star shaped sparkly pink glasses & went as Elton John. As you can see the bride & groom were the spitting image of Benny & Agnetha of "ABBA"...naturally. We had a leisurely dinner the night before with the wedding party & the groom's relatives. That's me in the orange shirt at the end of the table. On my left is the maid of honor & right next to Barbara on my right is the best man. The bride & groom are next to the maid of honor. I got to stand with the bride as part of her family because I'm her adopted "Uncle Fred!" And one of the party goers was this 70's icon, complete with fake chest hair patch & afro wig, that I just had to have a picture with. (He looked more like Wolfman Jack to me!)
But a fun time was had by all...even with the 95+ heat we had for the several days we were there.

I am not sure which is scarier, seeing your dad dressed in Elton's clothing, or seeing present day Abba weddings in full attire?! Love you!
